Born 1986 in Stockholm
When I think about it, I must be one of those few who always have known what they wanted to be "when they grow up". Ever since I could hold a pen, I loved to draw and always had some kind of motive epoch: Age 3 - Fighting dinosaurs, elephants with princess crowns and some very angry owls (faces only). Age 5 - Horses, horses, horses and sometimes my little pony. Age 8 - Hyenas and other doglike animals. Age 10 - Dogs again, Geese and birds (but no angry owls). Age 12 – Sailormoon, pokemon and dogs again (here to stay). At this stage I tried to make my first manga; a total sailormoon rip off -just some more dogs and sexier outfits (as sexy it now could be with proportions drawn by a 12 year old). Since then it has just continued with art classes and comic school in Malmö were the studio first met.
My interests for anime and manga started with me watching a Swedish-dubbed Tonari no Totoro on TV as a kid. I got totally in love with that different way of storytelling compared to Disney and western comics. In the future I’m hoping to get publicity in Japan and other countries. Dogs still has an important place for me, and I often include them in my works. |
